The cooperation agreement between the Faculty of Fisheries of the Mugla Sitki Kocman University (MSKÜ) and HATKO Teknik Donanimlar Mümessillik TIC. A.S. (HATKO Aquaculture) was signed in presence of Prof. Dr. Celal Ates, Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries, Assoc. Dr. Ertan Ercan, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries, HATKO A.S. Board Member Baran Ergüven and company representatives by the Rector of Mugla Sitki Kocman University (MSKÜ) Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Cicek and HATKO A.S. Coordinator Prof. Dr. A. Akin Candan.
- The contract signed as part of the cooperation between university and industry includes three-year cooperation between MSKÜ and HATKO Aquaculture regarding the production and breeding of sea fish, scientific projects, and articles and announcements based on them, certification studies that are to gain national or international validity.
- Consultancy services of faculty members at HATKO Aquaculture, and furthermore the opportunity for university students to do their internships, graduation projects, and theses within the scope of cooperation with HATKO Aquaculture.
- Implementation of seminars, conferences, and scientific meetings by MSKÜ and HATKO Aquaculture.
